Purpose of the Form

The NICOT™ Teacher Reflection Form is designed to help educators look beyond observable student behavior and explore the factors that may influence a student's classroom experience.

Through guided reflection, teachers are encouraged to examine their initial interpretations, consider alternative explanations, and identify intentional supports that promote student engagement, learning, and success.

The goal is not simply to change student behavior, but to better understand what students may need before making instructional decisions or developing behavioral goals.

Information submitted through the NICOT™ Teacher Reflection Form will help IncludED ECE Consulting:

• Better understand the classroom challenges and support needs educators are experiencing.

• Identify opportunities to provide individualized guidance, professional learning, and practical classroom strategies.

• Follow up with educators regarding their reflections and potential next steps.

• Inform the continued development and improvement of NICOT™ resources and professional learning opportunities.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Educators should not include student names, identifying information, or confidential educational records.

Reflections are intended for professional learning and educator support, not student evaluation or diagnosis.
